Wonderful Days - Diary with Style App Reviews

This is one of my favorite apps. I dont understand all the negative reviews. Its reliable, beautiful, and über useful. It has helped me in recovering from a mild TBI. It helps me remember things Ive done and places Ive been to. Adding pictures (& removing them when necessary), along with inputting text that allows for a variety of styles, is AWESOME! This is a stalwart in my app arsenal. Thank you, Developers of Wonderful Days!!!!

I love this app. Use it every day and sync with Evernote every day. Needs a few tweaks...as someone else said, the ability to click on more than one photo at a time. Needs better way to change the date on which you are working and a more friendly "home" button when working on an original entry. Keep updating it...its the best journal app Ive used.

Ive downloaded several diary/journal apps to figure out which one I liked best, and this was the winner for me. How it looks was important to me, so I love the different themes. But it could use a few things: Ability to search for an address or location on map Ability to select multiple photos

This is the most charming journal app Ive ever tried. Ive been registering my day-by-day feelings for more than six months, and now I got tired of the templates and styles that never change. Besides, since the last update I cant write in landscape mode anymore. Please fix ASAP! I wouldnt like to change to another app, but the bugs are too anoying

Will this app be available in iPad?

I love the app itself but, I like others cant retrieve previously synced notes off other iDevices.

I really like this app but it keeps crashing. I rebooted by iPhone. It still crashes. Please fix this! It is more pleasing to me than any other and it connects to Evernote. Would do five stars if it didnt crash. I notice the latest review is in April. Seems strange.

I am using it on a latest gen iPod Touch. The only problem with the app is the top menu bar isnt always there and I have to quit/restart the app to access things like the calendar view and other items from the main menu. Other than that I like it a lot. Its useful and works great with a Logitech K811 keyboard. I like the map features for setting location as wells as the mood/weather bits.

I have been using this app for over two years to record family vacations, events etc. I really enjoy using it and looking back at the entries and photos. It syncs with Evernote which is great fir a backup. I am about to get a new iPad though and I cannot figure out how to transfer the Wonderful Days entries to the new device. I have emailed the app developer several times and have not heard back. I would give the app 5 stars if there was a way to transfer the entries and if the app developer was responsive.

This could be one of the best apps for journaling. But there are some missing tools like tags, nearby places, the ability to select multiple photos and it needs a strong password. It crashes every time I put my finger on a photo. It hasnt been updated for I dont know how long and its time to update for iOS 7. I would go with DayOne but I cant add more than one photo in an entry. So WD has an advantage in this. And theming is a great way to make the journal look very elegant. I will change my rating once some or all of these issues are resolve.

I originally bought this for the Journal several years ago, but now like it even to do a bit of scrapbooking - although it only allows text then a picture, more text, another picture. At any rate, some of the bugs not synching to Evernote seem to be working just fine now, the only thing is its an iPhone app, and it does not work well on the iPad, which is sometimes easier to use due to the bigger screen. Still think its a good app. The function to drop pins on a calendar doesnt work that great but its ok.

Ive been using Wonderful Days almost daily for the past 18 months or so on my iPhone 4S. Ive never had a crash or any problem. The app inspired me to get back to writing for enjoyment. I like being able to e-mail specific entries as PDF. I do fear losing my past entries even though Ive not had any problems. Id be crushed if that happened! PS: I just successfully uploaded all 350 entries to Evernote Premium. Now I feel better! However, this preserves my words but not the formatting. Id like to be able to save my journal in original format. Id also appreciate folders & tags.

Once you have a bunch of entries and pics in the app it crashes all the time to the point you cant even sync with evernote anymore. When I try to click on a picture to expand it from an entry, it immediately crashes. These issues need to be addressed so I suggest using a different journal entry app, you dont want to risk losing entries from a year ago. Would defeat the whole purpose of keeping a journal if its just going to delete due to a bad app. PLEASE FIX ALL THE CRASHING!!!

I love this app but it hasnt been updated in ages. Ever since I upgraded to iOS7 the app crashes frequently. Especially when I try to open/view photos from past entries. It would also be nice if I didnt have to export each entry to PDF one at a time. The process takes forever, and the names it exports the PDF files as dont sort in a logical order on my computer so its difficult to find the date youre looking for.

Could you please fix the landscape typing it just goes down and doesnt let you see what youre typing lol I like this app a lot but there are rarely ever any updates :(

Update: Would like to sync my Iphone entries to my iPad. I once again emailed them and of course no reply. JUST HORRIBLE customer service. Should all be fired. App absolutely needs iPad support. I have emailed their "customer service" twice with zero response. Developers promise great service and deliver pathetically. Looking to replace this app unless they improve very fast. They also need DropBox support. If you want top notch service look elsewhere.

Ive used this app almost daily for over a year. I tried several other journaling apps and I like this one the most... However, I am disappointed in the lack of app support. Ive written twice to ask for help and the reason why the app crashes every time I try to open a photo. As soon as I touch a photo that has been uploaded, the app crashes. Not sometimes. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I would like to be able to view all of my photos without having to go to my Evernote backup. Really irritating. Really frustrating that the app developers havent bothered responding. Other than that, its a really great app with really nice options. I enjoy how clean and simple it is to use.

So far (after a bit of a clumsy start) Im loving this app! Tiny learning curve to figure around its limits. Keep the app in portrait view and its fabulous.

Crashes when using photos. Will try again when problem is fixed. One star until.
